There are no play features, the best you could hope to get out of the moving water here is stern dips at low tide, great care should be taken as the tide rises it becomes a nasty hole. There is no access below the sluice for access or egress from the water at low tide, if you speak nicely to the lock keeper and there are no boats in the lock the will let touring paddlers use the locks to gain easy access to the tidal stretch of the Medway.
